SanoSkin®OXY consists of vegetable ozonated olive oil. SanoSkin®OXY has antimicrobial properties because it contains ozonides. In 1904 Nicolas Tesla, started to produce ozonated oil know as Glycozone, many scientific articles were published about its use in wounds. SanoSkin® OXY is a gentle gel that is able to create a moist wound healing environment. It will facilitate wound debridement and due to the presence of ozonides it will act bacteriostatic (will stop growth of bacteria in wound). The acid environment is supported further in the wound, because the ozonide will in contact with water slowly turn into organic acids. To cover the wound a Foam or gauze can be used as a secondary dressing. Available as 30 gram tubes. The SanoSkin® OXY is also an excellent product to treat acne, eczema, and fissures.
The use of SanoSkin OXY will not lead to resistence in micro-organisms.
The main reason why SanoSkin OXY is bacteriostatic is due to its low pH and the oxidative environment.
Ozone gas (O3) is hardly present in SanoSkin OXY. The typical smell is caused by the ozonides.

Case 1: male, Age 81, arterial insufficiency SanoSkin Oxy & SanoSkin Cleanser.
Wound due to trauma was debrided and treated with Oxy and cleaned with SanoSkin Cleanser. It took 10 weeks to full healing. and wound was treated with oxy
Wound was cleaned with SanoSkin Cleanser.
Case 2: Patient with necrotizing fasciitis treated during one month with SanoSkin®OXY. The SanoSkin®OXY was used to disinfect the wound. The wound is cleaned and ready for a skin graft.
Case 3: Dormant venous ulcer was treated for months with Betadin and did not heal. SanoSkin®OXY was used and the wound started to heal. It took 39 days till complete healing. Compression therapy was a part of the treatment.
